I think everything said made a great deal of sense. But, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier post title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added something that makes people desire more? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You could look at Yahoo's front page and see how they create post titles to grab people interested. You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it would make your website a little bit more interesting.
